Thank you, Alovely and Jas, for your kind feedback. As to the stars, I had never noticed them until Alandra mentioned them. I usually see zinnias in masses so I had never looked closely at the details of a single bloom. There's a lesson to be learned I think.

I hadn't known that the centre of a Zinnia had little stars. This is a lovely macro and the colours are compliment each other. Nature has a way of knowing how to put things together, to produce wondrous things! :)
