young great blue herons after the parent had just fed them. The parent didn't stay around very long (which is no wonder, when you see the way the youngsters mob the parents upon their return from finding food!)

Hi Dud, - the heron nests are quite a distance from where I stand to take the shots, and quite high up the cliff. If I could get closer, the pics would be sharper.

thanks Dud, glad you enjoyed them, it's not something people see every day, right, - so hoped there'd be some interest in them : ) It would be nice if they were a bit closer, but it's better than nothing.
