About This Image

yellow poppy named Champagne Bubbles. Just opened yesterday, you can see its petals are still a bit crumpled here. We have another in a peach colour which opened earlier.
Taken from open front window with telephoto lens as I was waiting for birds etc to show up

thankyou Mary. yes, the upper petal really looks translucent on "full screen preview", - we were viewing it on that function last night. Plus there's green colouring on the petals close to the center, which you don't see as well in this compressed version.
