Oh, the beautiful ladyslipper!! A flower my Mother did not allow me to pick so a camaera would have been really great. That was 79 years ago. *LOL* Would love to see your picture room at home. You live in beautiful area too, don't you?

These are so interesting to look at; I just love orchids and there are so many different varieties and colours. This one has a dark and mysterious look to it; a little sinister, I think. Great shot Beverly! :)

Wow, I love the lighting on this too. Its an unusual flower, one I have never seen before but very pretty. Great image to view. :)

Nice capture, the lighting conveys the feel of the deep woods habitat of the flower. One of my favorites, but they're pretty uncommom around here (Western NY).
