About This Image

beautiful Yellow Golden Pheasant (Chrysolophus pictus (yellow form) - at the Bloedel Conservatory, in the Queen Elizabeth Park, Vancouver BC.
I believe this is a male. These are found in Central China, -- this pretty mutation was bred by Italian Professor Ghigi. These birds are 36 inches long/100 cm. I love the way they "strut" when they walk.
