About This Image

For the past wee while I have been a bricklayer and have made this footpath. It always got muddy in winter so now I don't think it will be such a problem area. I only have a small area in the foreground to finish a little ramp. I'm hoping I can get all the grandy's handprints in this part. The mortar in bewteen the bricks is still damp so am hoping it will look nice when its fully dry. :)

Thank you very much, Carol, Jas and the two Anne's for the very nice comments. It was much fun to do, almost like everyday I couldn't wait to do a little more. The hardest thing was moving the cartwheel from the previous place. I had concreted it in the ground so had to break that up and then roll it out of the hole it was in to a new hole. It was very very heavy and I had visions of the kids finding me flattened under it! Lol. Still I persevered and accomplished the job!

I love how the bricks are laid out. A perfect spot to spend an evening - just looking at the beauty of trees, wheel and flowers!!!

You certainly are multi-talented Cindy! Lovely footpath and I can now see that your new rose will look really nice growing on your cartwheel. :)
