The colours of the plumage are so perfect that they look almost painted, so I think Janice's confusion is entirely justified! A masterly shot.

Very sharp and clear shot. I have a stupid question to ask. Is this a wooden duck in the water or is it a type of duck called a wood duck? I honestly am confused.
