About This Image

Wiri is an area of land between Papatoetoe and Manurewa in Manukau City which is south of Auckland,N.Z.
The canoe shaped roof bottom left is the new Telstra Clear Event Centre nearing completion which brings events like N.Z.Idol,sports events,cultural entertainment to Manukau City,rather than travel 30 minutes into Auckland City north of here.
In the back ground lies an industrial area and further back Auckland Airport sitting beside the Manukau Harbour which feeds in from the Tasman Sea between New Zealand and Australia our closest land cousins.

Very interesting description Vincent and interesting to see a different part of the Auckland area. The Telstra Centre looks as if it will be a great venue for special events and probably easier to get to. :)
