When I stopped to see if I could capture the long, long freight train across the Truckee the sky was clear. Before I returned to my pickup truck this storm was coming in at such speed that I was forced to stop when I reached Sparks, Nevada as I-80 was closed temporarily.

There is actually a rainbow in the center of that cloud. Beautiful!

Thank you both - actually, it became a bit eerie. When I stopped the skies were blue - when I turned around the storm was approaching - and at this point when I got to my pickup truck, about 20' away!

very nice, capturing the oncoming storm like that. Trees in the foreground are very pleasing too.
