Hi Talsi and thanks for viewing my photo. Thank you for your comments. Yes, I agree as the path wasn't well worn because of the recent snow. The rocks along the side help to define the area.

A lovely, peaceful scene. I can imagine the stillness because I was on a nature hike some years back. We were walking in the woods and it was snowing. It was so still, no wind or sound. I never experienced anything like it since and always remember it.

Thank you Lorraine and Gminniss for viewing my photograph. This particular day the weather was not harsh and the woods felt like a warm blanket,of sorts, as the winds was kept at bay by the trees.

Yes, it does certainly look peaceful. I saw scenes similar to this when I was growing up in Colorado. We don't see anything like this here on the desert in Arizona. However, if we want to see snow, all we have to do is drive 100 miles north to the mountains near Flagstaff.
