About This Image

The Desert Marigolds are showing up everywhere. These are growing out behind my house. I took this almost into the sun to get the glowing effect on the petals.

Hi Claudia, Ann, Beverly, and Alex... Thanks so much for all of your wonderful comments :-) I really like my 75-300mm lens, it's easy and fun to make the backgrounds blurry. F/5.6 is my favorite.. Yep Alex I do end up sitting or laying on the ground almost everyday LOL.. For this one I was sitting with the flowers about 15ft away.

Oh those beautiful yellow flowers! You have captured them so wonderfully. They seem almost 3D to me. As Gold mentioned, great DOF Alan.
