About This Image

This was cropped to 8x10 at 150ppi, distracting dirt in the water behind the goose was removed, and the levels was adjusted to brighten up and increase the contrast of the bird. I'm not sure if it'll print well, but it came out well enough for a web image.

The goose was really hamming it up for the camera. He'd pose and hold still, and come right up to where he was almost kissing the lens. This shot was about 20 feet away and is the best of the bunch. Most of the others were blurry because I had to shoot at 1/20 or slower. I like the way his head is in focus, but his body is blurred as he slowly made his way towards me. (At least I assume he's a male - I've no idea how to tell for sure).
