Yes, it's the new nickel. A couple of years ago I came across my first one and thought I had stumbled across a mint error, no such luck.This one was minted in Philadelphia, that's what the little p stands for.

This is the new style nickle they came out with about 2005 i believe. there are several different ones that the back are all different on as well. Z

You guys haven't seen these nickles yet? They've been changing the designs on nickles for a few years now, along with quarters, and the 'golden dollars'.

Hi Alex, I don't think I have ever seen that coin before. Maybe you better check around to see what it is, it could be a rare coin and worth millions...
