Guest - May 29, 2006 10:55 PM EDT I suddenly "seee" it now, the pedal of the bike! very clever.
Guest - Aug 23, 2005 10:11 PM EDT How incredibly clever! I REALLY REALLY REALLY enjoy this shot!
Guest - Aug 18, 2005 01:55 PM EDT Hi Jocelynne. It is the pedal of the bike - the bit your feet sit on to make the wheels turn. This part isn't actually in the photo I have put on of the bike, but I used it as a clue. It is quite old and rusty hence the middle pipe. I'll try to get a good photo of it and put it on for you though.
Guest - Aug 18, 2005 09:11 AM EDT Can you show us a photo of the bike? I'm not getting the perspective of it.
Guest - Aug 15, 2005 03:47 PM EDT Ha! Well Tania, you sure got thinking and yes, you got it right. It is the pedal of the old bike that sits in our garden. I have another "what is it" lined up so keep an eye on my gallery. Thanks also km for having a try.
Guest - Aug 15, 2005 08:16 AM EDT Are these parts of wheelbarrows?
Guest - Aug 15, 2005 04:10 AM EDT Is it peddles off your old bike. What has that kind of pattern on. Tyres, Handle grips, peddles is all I can think of.
when are you going to put us out of our missery lol
Guest - Aug 15, 2005 03:59 AM EDT It is a womens birth right to change her mind. is it the wheels and shaft of a rotary hoe. the black bits look like hard rubber wheels.
Guest - Aug 15, 2005 03:55 AM EDT Hay lulu this is harder than it looks. Is it 2 bike tires in a bike stand????
Guest - Aug 03, 2005 03:53 AM EDT Anyone else willing to take a stab at this one? Its really not too hard if you look at some of my other photos.
Guest - Aug 01, 2005 02:28 PM EDT Ha, Dion, you aren't as clever as you think this time. Not part of a swing or any playground equipment. Keep guessing though.
Guest - Aug 01, 2005 02:29 AM EDT Is it part of some play equipment, like a swing??
Guest - Jul 31, 2005 05:07 AM EDT Keep guessing, you're not there yet. No, its not to do with a fence or railroad. You are right about it being outdoors though. The outer bits are not to protect the inner rod. They serve another purpose.
Guest - Jul 31, 2005 01:29 AM EDT looks as if the paint or coating from the middle piece, has run onto the lower, treaded piece. other than that, have no other ideas : )
Guest - Jul 30, 2005 11:56 PM EDT It's outdoors judging by the rust. Around here people tar or oil wooden railroad ties to repel water. Is it a metal pipe with wood on each side to protect it from being hit with something like a tractor or car?
Guest - Jul 30, 2005 11:39 PM EDT I think the middle one is some sort of metal rod that has rusted. Not sure what's up with the "tread" pattern on the other two. Looks like tar or something. Is it some sort of fence?
Guest - Jul 30, 2005 04:55 AM EDT Ha ha, I know this one! Lulu told me but I'd never have guessed. Good luck everyone!
