About This Image

Burrowing owl, was living in an abandoned prairie dog hole. Sadly, they have developed this area and my owl is gone. This was the only halfway decent photo I was able to get.

We saw him regularly when walking the dogs, and were even fairly close a couple times. Every time I had the camera he was a ways off. The dogs didn't help us get closer, either! :-) We were quite sad when the development work started. Thank you for your comments!

Good shot, nust be quite hard to get very close, sad that he's had to look for a new home. just for the sake of development.
