Guest - Dec 31, 2007 01:19 AM EDT Was this taken at a city park?
If so, someone probably dumped him. If not, and this is a pond out in a field somewhere, then he may be able to fly if his wings have never been clipped.
People tend to dump ducks at city parks. They get the cute babies at Easter and then they grow up.....
Guest - Dec 27, 2007 10:25 PM EDT Now that could be. but he/she is a wild duck. I would think they would not be, unless he escaped.
Guest - Dec 27, 2007 03:54 PM EDT It looks to me like a Crested Blue Swedish duck.
They are an heirloom or rare breed duck.
Very cute
