Thanks for the nice comments Steve, Don,Carol and Pris. And, Pris, I did take other views, but this is the one that worked the best. I do, however, understand about wanting to see the door hanger better. It is a Welcome sign.

I like this shot as well. I do wish you had moved around just a little so we could see what was hanging from the door. One more peice of personalization of the entry way that makes it interesting. We might be able to make out the stone face a little better that way too.

It is a simple entrance. But I like how it is personalized with the stone face sitting on the steps. That one item changes the whole scene for me. It makes me wonder about the person who lives there and not so much about the scene. If it weren't for that one item, I don't believe I would have thought that way. Am I rambling? OK I'll quit.
