About This Image

This project took a very long time to complete.Fabric had to be viewed through a red filter to change it to a gray scale, so I could determine what was the lightest to the darkest. Then sewn together in 2in.strips, and then cut again in the opposite direction to create a fade in and fade out effect. The end result is something called "Laura's Windmill".

Thanks Carol, this one was truely a "brain breaker",but I copied two more patterns from the original book, and I don't know if I will ever attempt another again! This was an early picture and I see now that it is terribly off center, yikes!
