thankyou Janice, I only just found this comment from you, very nice. You left the comment here nearly a year ago! We just saw the first one of these Varied Thrushes (for this winter season) bathing here on our front patio a couple days ago. We used to get a lot of them here each winter, am hoping some more will show up soon.

thanks Alex. yep, that's for sure, - was really happy to capture these, after focussing on sparrows for sometime : ) Not that there's anything wrong with sparrows, we feed all of 'em, -- but these guys are more colourful and fewer of them.

thankyou Carol and Mary S from Kent, England. we used to get many of these each fall and winter, but the past few winters, there havent been as many. They like the old fashioned rolled oat flakes we put out for them
