This old building has an interesting story to tell. It was the home of a chap who was murdered in the basement of a building across the street last year. The fellow had been imbibing at the tavern that was next to the murder site & had showed his pay envelope to too many people. His body was found when the building was demolished. The police have pretty much given up on the case because the people of this neighborhood are a family of sorts & stick together against "the man".
