Guest - Oct 21, 2005 06:15 AM EDT You captured the delicate color so beautifully. The background really makes the flower stand out. Well done.
Guest - Oct 20, 2005 02:34 PM EDT Lisa, thanks!! This was taken at Calloway Gardens in Southwestern Georgia when we were there this past June.. I live in Texas and have never seen one here, but there were tons of flowers at Calloways that I had not seen before.. One of these days I plan to go back and spend several days there!! I'm glad to have a name for this one!!
Guest - Oct 19, 2005 09:38 PM EDT have heard of Grevillea, not sure how to spell it, but have never seen one growing in our area. I bet our hummingbirds would also love those, with the nectar as you mentioned.
Guest - Oct 19, 2005 05:31 PM EDT Hi Guys this is what we call in Australia a gravillia. It is a very good bird attracting flower as it has nectar tucked away in it, our honey eaters and our lorikeets love it for the nectar.
