km, I am not sure where that museum is. I don't think it is on the reservation near us.
To get that deep green, a lot of water is used. There is an irrigation canal nearby. The photo was taken from the clubhouse of the Talking Stick Golf Club.
Guest - Dec 17, 2007 03:46 AM EDT Seems strange to see that deep green grass in such a dry region. I remember that in 1996 while driving our rental car from Phoenix to Tuscon in 111 degree heat, the car's computer shut it down and so we went to a nearby small museum dedicated to Ira Hays, a Pima Indian, made famous by the flag raising on Iwo Jima. Is the reservation in that area? Lovely color and perfect time of day to capture it.
Guest - Dec 17, 2007 02:24 AM EDT beautiful scene, Gary, I agree with the above comment also.
Guest - Dec 17, 2007 12:23 AM EDT I love the golden yellows, the limey greens and the way it leads your eyes to the grey blues in the distance. Very nice :)
