Kelly - Oct 13, 2015 04:12 PM EDT Pin my tail and call me a dokeyn, that really helped.
Guest - Jan 07, 2007 06:19 AM EDT I also love this photo the angle of the photo is wonderful with the sky as the backdrop. Beautiful
Guest - Sep 30, 2006 02:08 PM EDT This is an interesting plant. I think the angle is great with the blue sky in the background.
Guest - May 24, 2006 09:52 PM EDT Good close up, and the blue sky background really sets off the flower.
Guest - May 05, 2006 08:02 AM EDT Aw thanks Stewart! Yes, it definatley reminds me of an asparagus as well. Thank for the comment.
Guest - Apr 21, 2006 03:49 AM EDT This is neat. It looks like a close-up asparagus. A nice clear shot.
Guest - Sep 06, 2005 04:43 AM EDT Thanks for your comments Carol, Mary, Lurene, Mel and Alandra. This flower is actually quite large - hence my reference to a triffid - though I guess you cant tell by the photo! The flower itself would be about the size of a grapefruit, and the stalk not much thinner than my wrist. I took the photo standing up, from under the flower slightly. It was about 3.5 feet off the ground.
Guest - Sep 04, 2005 05:15 PM EDT another great macro of this unique flower. great to see all these different plants!
Guest - Sep 04, 2005 03:28 PM EDT Rather dramatic with the straon colours. I don't think I have seen one of these's flowers before. I look how you have captured it. Well done again!
Guest - Aug 29, 2005 07:15 PM EDT This is awesome. I like the colour of the sky behind it also. These really do remind me of that old triffids movie. Oh, the water droplets look really neat.
Guest - Aug 27, 2005 04:20 PM EDT This is a beautiful portrait of a flower and the background sets it off perfectly. Were you lying on the ground to get this shot?? :)
Guest - Aug 27, 2005 03:15 PM EDT Great closeup, love the sky background here.
