Thanks Carol. I hike with some clubs, and I see many things I would like to photograph, but the rest of the folks like to keep moving, so all I can get are quick snapshots.

Oh yes, I did. Everynow and then I think a thumbnail is something it isn't when I open it up. The Last one was one I thought was a scarecrow that turned out to be a rather unusual pose of a blue heron. And another recently was one of snow and blue sky, I thought it was clouds at first.

Thanks Mary and Alandra. I had to go back and look at the thumbnail, and I see where you came up with toast and jam; however; I would never have thought about it that way, but then I knew what it was.

that's a great macro of the fungus, Talsi, - but you will smile, - in the thumbnail I thought someone had sent in a pic of toast and jam, before seeing the name of sender : )

An amazing close up. The colours so vibrant and the textures wonderful Talsi- great idea.
