Yes Talsi, Jas is right it's a Kniphofia, I did write our common name for it but it was not accepted. A very nice image nice sharp colours.

I think this is called Kniphofia or, Torch Lily? We call it something else, in the UK but TLF won't accept the English, common name, so I guess it has a different interpretation in the US? My friend, Chriss, will correct me, if I'm wrong about this. Lovely, bright colours and really interesting to view. :)
