very cute bird and nice setting. Is that a kinglet? - not sure if it might be a ruby crowned or golden crowned kinglet. This one looks like he has the "white eye" like some of our bushtits : ) I have seen these around here when dog walking, but don't see them in the garden here.

He is really surrounded by thorns but the branches make a nice frame around him.
