Thanks for your comments Don and Sparkle. I don't know about the swans adopting the Mallard, but I have never heard of putting Swans in a lake to keep out other waterfowl, and it certainly doesn't work, as this and other lakes that I am familiar with have all sorts of duck, geese and swans. But anyhow, thanks for viewing.
