About This Image

The only open section of Watkins Glen State Park is the path to the suspension bridge 83 above feet above 'The Narrows', shown here. This narrow band of water leads to the waterfall in my first image today at the entrance of the park, eventually emptying into Lake Seneca, just visible at the top of this image.

Hi Steve - those rock stairs wayyyy down there are part of the Gorge Trail - which I will hike to see all the waterfalls (and walk behind two of them!!!) But remember - the incredible architecture you share with us is also astounding and awesome! Vicki

Vicki, I'm really jealous of you having the prospect of all this to explore - can't wait to see your images!

Hi Carol and lorraine. I don't generally get dizzy looking down - but that suspension bridge had a wee bit of a sway and was rather discombobulating looking over that edge! Vicki
