The Finished Product

Its so amazing to watch them build, each little piece of mud is carried in from their beaks and somehow they shape it into little beads, almost like laying bricks. I remember going to milk one hot afternoon and the nest and dried out and fell with young babys in it. It was so sad. :(

Wow I must say I'm not familiar with birds and such, but this a little piece of natures art, how cleverly made! It is the first time I have seen a nest of this type, if it wasnt for your other picture with the bird at work I probably wouldnt believe you *g*
