Cindy - Feb 10, 2008 03:05 PM EDT Thank you Talsi for your wonderful remark and thanks also for viewing :)
talsi - Feb 05, 2008 12:24 PM EDT Powerful image - good job.
Guest - Sep 15, 2007 03:39 AM EDT Thanks again Vicki. I actually put alot of deep thought and perfecting into this creation and really it didn't take me too long to do. The outcome was exactly as the image I had in mind!
Guest - Sep 13, 2007 10:02 PM EDT That's a bit scary, Cindy - (not!) I've been accused of reading between lines before. But this is a mind-blower! I agree with Don - I keep returning to it.
Guest - Sep 13, 2007 08:40 PM EDT Hey Don, I'm so grateful for your neat comment. I wanted a real sharp and clear piece of work, as I see in so many of your lovely photos, so "Don's work" was also a thought when I did this! I'm happy you enjoy it, thank you. :)
Guest - Sep 13, 2007 09:08 AM EDT Hi Cindy, I thought I had commented on this one but missed doing so somehow. It is a fantastic composition. I could look at this for a long time. A great piece of work Cindy! Don
Guest - Sep 13, 2007 05:31 AM EDT Thank you so very very much Vicki for your wonderful comment. I am actually intrigued by your question, 'what was I thinking' as your first paragraph described perfectly what was going through my mind at the time! (Great minds think alike!!!) I also agree with you and I think anger and hatred is such a waste of emotion.
Again thank you Vicki. I'm touched by your lovely comment :)
Guest - Sep 12, 2007 12:21 PM EDT Cindy, this is absolutely BEAUTIFUL with the Golden Eagle as the focus, looking thoughtfully through the opening into the distance. He knows he's free to roam at will as there are no bars holding him back, yet the solid walls seem to offer some security too.
Out of curiosity, what were you thinking as you created this gem?
I truly think that those of us who enjoy creating layered images look beyond. I know when I created my 9/11 tribute the other day that it was a form of World-Wide catharsis to cope with the pain from so much useless anger and hatred some souls seem to be demented by, when peace and unity accomplish so much more.
Keep up your marvellous work. It's really uplifting and thought-provoking - as it should be.
Vicki
