Thanks for the comment Don,its easier to clean the windows than to sit outside with a handful of seed waiting for one to land there foe a photo.LOL

How cold was the air temperature? Maybe it liked the warmth of your hand. Amazing photos of this beautiful little bird. I once held a cedar waxwing in my hands after it had fallen from the sky. It was an incredible experience for me. A little sugar water and rest and it was sent on its way.
