Hello Mary. No i havent painted in years. I have tried acrylics but found it easier to get the colors I wanted with oils. I havent tried water colors.

Thank you Alandra, painting brass is the hardest thing I have painted. getting the colors correct is very difficult.

this is really good! the way you captured the "glint" in the tea Samovar is excellent.
