I took several shots of a tatoo parlor in Cocoa Beach, Florida and ran into a couple of "heavily tatooed dudes" standing outside for a smoke. I took shots of their arms and layered one of the 'arm shots' with the neon sign shot. The original file obviously shows the detail much better. The combined layers were then "pulled up" to the cream color canvas with an oil brush at about 75% transparency.
