Taking It Back

About This Image
This was taken in Oatman, Arizona. Where the burros run the town and keep it alive. Hard to believe in 2008 but it's true. The burros show up around ten in the morning, that's when the stores open and the town wakes up.
Oatman started as a mining town and the miners used the burros with there mining work. When the miners left the burros were left behind. They never left town and are running it today.
If you ever get a chance to visit Oatman, Do It.. I live around thirty miles from Oatman and have been there many many times in the last thirty years. Here is a link about the town of Oatman if you would like to learn a little more.
