About This Image

Taken at the Gala of the Royal Horses Show, held in Auckland. The horses completed an incredible array of tasks & I thought this was a very touching part of the show, depicting the incredible trust the horse has in his trainer.

Mary, I really liked your choice of words "Sweet Surrender", so I renamed the picture, it seems so appropriate.

Yes Alandra they are the Lippizaner Stallions. They also had Fresian Horses performing, it was such an amzing show!

I keep coming back to this image, very powerful. "Sweet Surrender" is what it makes me think of...there is a song with this title by Sarah McLachlan and also one by John Denver.

are those the Lippizaner stallions? we've seen them in Vancouver, BC Canada and they are wonderful
