Guest - Nov 01, 2006 09:09 AM EDT Love the palm silhouettes and the sky's colors. NIce job. I didn't realize the Red Tide caused problems in humans.

Guest - Oct 10, 2005 07:31 PM EDT Yes, Alandra, is was quite windy. Unfortunately, there was a Red Tide bloom in the Gulf of Mexico. It is caused by an algae that gives of a toxin and paralyzes the fish so they can't breathe. I had to wear goggles when I went on the beach to capture the sunrises. The toxin was carried by the wind blowing ashore and caused burning eyes and irritation of the throat.
