alandrapal - Aug 11, 2008 03:38 PM EDT thanks again, Jas. This is a special colour & type, but forget the name and have misplaced the tag :) We got 4 of this special type in varying colours a year ago, (quite expensive as they were new and some were supposed to have a rose scent, which appealed to me) but only 2 overwintered, surprisingly, since the original coneflowers are native to BC. Was speaking to a lady this summer at the garden centre where we bought them, and she said one person is testing the different types to see which perform best, so that made me think that others have also had the same problem that we did. Too bad they didn't test them more before selling them a year ago :) The other one that survived is much smaller than this, and hasn't bloomed this summer.
Jas - Aug 11, 2008 09:29 AM EDT I really like these cone flowers and this one is such a pretty colour. I like the angle you've taken this from. :)
