Guest - Sep 12, 2007 05:58 PM EDT I wasn't sure if it was lavender or butterfly bush. I had lavender in my yard (it's wonderful - even the greenery is fragrant and soothing) and there are many crafts you can create with it. This is taller than my plants, but definitely tend to resemble the lavender. I can smell it now, through your delightful image, Carol.

This photo was taken some place in Vermont,Im not sure if the flowers are lavender or not.
