This one is a great example of what the red fox has lost. Karen, I wasn't aware that there was more than one type of Mange. It's heartbreaking to see an animal in distress like this. Vicki

This is sad to see in wildlife. There are two types of mange---one is more treatable than the other. It looks like it started in his tail.

the poor thing, do you have an RSPCA over there they might be able to help him, my husband thought that some sorts of mange are treatable, I hope he can be treated or at least they can stop the suffering for the por animal.

He sure does look like he is in distress.Its unfortunate he couldn't be tranquilized and treated.
