About This Image

It isn't a long walk to be in the midst of the Maine
woods. It was a spring day and the temperature was
warm. The trees, ferns and grasses were just turning a varigation of greens. The small stream was brimming with fresh spring water, and cold to the touch. Moss
was covering many of the rocks as I walked gingerly
across them to take photographs. As I stepped
from one rock to the other I felt a freedom of spirit
that had been tightly wrapped in winter ware for so many months. This is a photograph of a stream in the
spring in the Maine wood.

I would love to be in the midst of Maine (at time this picture was taken, *g*,) right now!! Beautiful. The falls cascading over the mossy rocks. And I liked the walking right into the picture!

What a lovely scene! I love the large, moss covered, boulders and the way they're laying in the stream. It's a lovely composition and shows nice perspective.
