Guest - May 02, 2006 07:16 AM EDT Hi Lulu, yes I was worried, mostly because of the high winds and Hamish being up there on Paul. I quickly took the shot and sternly told Paul to move back.
Thanks Mary for your comments. This beach in within Hawke Bay, I don't think there are any sandy beaches within it. Maybe there are up north further, but that is hours away by car.
Guest - May 01, 2006 06:24 AM EDT Great photo Mel. I'd be worried with them standing on the beach though as I read that a lady was swept away last week and drowned (presuming this is Marine Parade). No Mary, this is not a sandy beach. Its very stony and extremely dangerous. You would be mad to swim in it. Its a lovely sight though and the stormy weather we have had contributed to this great shot.
