Hi Lulu, yes I was worried, mostly because of the high winds and Hamish being up there on Paul. I quickly took the shot and sternly told Paul to move back. Thanks Mary for your comments. This beach in within Hawke Bay, I don't think there are any sandy beaches within it. Maybe there are up north further, but that is hours away by car.

Great photo Mel. I'd be worried with them standing on the beach though as I read that a lady was swept away last week and drowned (presuming this is Marine Parade). No Mary, this is not a sandy beach. Its very stony and extremely dangerous. You would be mad to swim in it. Its a lovely sight though and the stormy weather we have had contributed to this great shot.

Interesting coastline and nice photo. The beach doesn't look sandy.
