These old stone fences out last the homesteads. We have a number of them here in the Great Smokey Mountains. Nice image. Haven't gotten a good photo of them yet as the sun has always been out and the stone fences splotchy with light and shawdows.

I love the stone fence too. So many hours of hard work go into constructing them and the stone is set off so well with the softer, green vegetation behind.
