Guest - Sep 30, 2005 06:41 PM EDT Thanks Joan I will have a look at Josef Sudeks work. Thanks for the nice comments
Guest - Sep 25, 2005 10:58 AM EDT you have an exellent use of lines and contrast. your subject matter and composition reminds me of the early 20th c. archetecture as well as the later works of Josef Sudek - pieces like "An Industrial Scene"Staircase in the great Exhibition Palace" and some of his geometric still-lifes. Check him out - Phaidon makes books called 55s (a book with 55 pics from a certain artist) which are really good. once again - good job on your piece.
Guest - Jun 25, 2005 09:28 AM EDT Thanks... When you shoot in Black and White all you have are the lines and the contrasts. Glad you like the image.
Guest - Jun 24, 2005 09:20 PM EDT Great forms, lines and contrast in this shot. It is amazing how a simple shot can be so powerful.
