This view of the oldst city in the United States was taken from the lighthouse which was originally built as a watchtower over the Atlantic Ocean. All the flags on the boats in the harbor are paart of the annual Blessing of the Boats Parade on Palm Sunday

Sorry Anne - I enjoyed getting this photo from the St Augustine Lighthouse . . . but it doesn't begin to do justice to the beautiful town - I can't wait to return and spend REAL time there. Do go if you get the opportunity.

I have always wanted to go to St. Augustine but never got to go. Thanks for the quick trip. *g* Now I think I can content myself with just looking at this wonderful shot. Thanks again!!

Nice panorama with good detail and focus. Wish I could view it somewhat larger to see all the detail.
