great capture, Carol, somehow missed this one til now. Agreeing with the other comments. They are sortof pesky at times, but I still like them. They have such nice large eyes, which seem to set them apart from many rodents.

Yes, lovely shot of this little fellow - he looks very cheeky, a bit like a chipmunk's face. We have red squirrels where I live and they are protected, as they are very few in numbers throughout the UK.

The father squirrel has disappeared but his wife and spunky children still rule the bird feeder! This is a great shot with excellent detail. Gerbils look a lot like squirrels, too.

Thanks Cindy and Talsi. Your right Talsi they are a rodent being cute is what saves them around this household, it doesnt take long for them to eat all the birds food. Im hopeing for some squirrel proof feeders this Xmas from Santa.
