Squirrel Drinking at fountain

I really like the squirrels too, Susan, cute little beggars and their antics are very comical, as they leap and climb around. Madeson gets a bit annoyed as they do spill the bird seed all over the place, but the ground feeding birds eat it all up anyway, so who cares! :)

Hi Karen and Don, many thanks for the nice comments. Don, we have the little water fountain running all winter, - it's one of the only running water sources around here for the birds etc, so is quite popular. Karen, We keep it turned down low so that the water doesn't splash all over the edges of the "bowl" below. But it can be made to have a higher "waterspout", but this way seems to work the best for all concerned.

A beautiful close-up portrait. I have never seen a fountain like that. It must keep the water nice and clean.

Great shot of the squirrel drinking Alandra! Looks like the 1.4 is going to work well for you. Nice clean capture. I wouldn't think it would be warm enough for running water there now. It sure isn't here. I quess you are warmed by the Pacific? Don

Obviously a good quality converter! A wonderful candid shot of the squirrel, who seems to be blowing bubbles!
