Thanks Bruce for viewing and taking time to comment,always appreciated. Im not sure what the bird is,this is one of those pic that I had no idea that there was even a bird in it until I downloaded it. The photo was taken in Virginia while we were on vacatiom this spring at resort we stayed at and there were many birds mostly geese so it could of been a goose.

Nice shot. What is the bird? I thought at first a loon by the way it's floating, but the color's wrong for that. Bruce
