Nice picture. This looks like the genus Larinioides, but I'm not sure what species it is.

This looks similar to a spider I would see only at night under the carport roof. She disappeared during the day. Nice capture with good detail.

VICKI SHE IS A GOLDEN ORB SPIDER BUT THIS WAS TAKEN ABOUT 18.30 (BST) I HAVE TAKEN THE WOOD BEAM OUT JUST TO GET A BETTER LOOK AT HER . THANKS FOR THE COMMENT TOO

Beautiful detail. I have no idea what type of spider this is, but she almost looks crystalline with the deep shadows behind her. I'm fascinated that it's obvious which strand she last added to her intricate web.
