spectacular Chinese Golden Pheasant, altho it's main colour is Red. This bird is rare in the wild. One of the most beautiful birds we've ever seen.

thanks Alex and Mary. I think it's just the "purposeful" way they strut around, Mary : ) He was hurrying to get across the pathway, over into the more leafy area, to hide a bit. The yellow pheasant had gone across there a couple minutes earlier, so he was catching up, - they hang out together it seems. Cute
