The spatterdock is a great flower to photograph in the Uinta mountains. I was looking for one of these lillies with a nice reflection in the water, but couldn't find the perfect flower; however, I think this one is interesting enough to share with you. I shot another yellow pond lily a few years ago with a camera with lower megapixels, so I wanted to have a nice spatterdock image in my 'upgraded' gallery.
